One Year Post High School Graduation: Any residential student who enrolls in TAMUC within the year of High School graduation is required to have the following meal plan.

Meal Plan options:

• 19 Meal Plan with $800 Flex
• 17 Meal Plan with $800 Flex

If the student does not select a meal plan, the 19 Meal Plan w/$800 FLEX will be automatically applied

Two Year Post High School Graduation: Any residential student who enrolls in TAMUC within two 2 years of High School graduation is required to have one of the following meal plans.

• 19 Meal Plan with $800 Flex
• 17 Meal Plan with $800 Flex

Flex works like a pre-paid debit card with funds kept on your Lion card (physical or mobile). Flex may be used at any on-campus dining location which includes Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Jimmy John’s and the RSC Mini Market. You can also use Flex at the Lion's Mane Cafe if you are out of weekly meals or to treat a friend.

Flex dollars now roll over from Fall to Spring! Unused Flex dollars will be forfeited at the end of the Spring semester.

The 19 Meal Plan is the most flexible meal plan! Students have 19 meals per week to be used in the Lion's Mane Cafe or they may choose to exchange their meal swipe for a $7.00 credit that can be used at Lion'a Lair.

A Meal Exchange allows students to exchange one of their weekly meals for a $7.00 credit that can be used at Lion’s Lair Food Lockers or at the athletic events’ concessions. This is only available on the 19, 17 and 14 Plans.
